Wyvil Primary School
Wyvil is a culturally and racially mixed Community (Primary) School in the
London Borough of Lambeth with a Delegated Budget under Local Management of Schools
(LMS).
The school was formed in January 1982 by the amalgamation of Wyvil Junior School and Wyvil Infant School.
There is an on-site nursery unit, Wyvil Nursery, which forms part of Wyvil Community (Primary) School.
Within Wyvil School is a Special Needs Unit for Language Impaired children of primary age.
Wyvil Community School, is situated in the South Lambeth Road and is within five to seven
minutes walk from Vauxhall B.R. and Underground stations, close to Nine Elms, New Covent Garden
Market.
A number of small shops, a market and a large Sainsbury's Supermarket are all well within walking distance.
Wyvil School became a foundation school in 2006.
